A Sense of Community
Here at Bebington Glazing, we’re feeling extremely proud of the sense of community we have witnessed following a recent incident in our town.
In March, New Ferry was hit by an explosion which proved devastating to a number of local businesses and residents - the disaster left many of us unable to access our homes and livelihoods for a long period of time. Following in the wake of last month’s event, however, it’s certainly heart-warming to see that our town and its residents have come together to support one another in a number of innovative ways. Both the community spirit and drive to move forward has been overwhelming.
Despite what’s happened, it’s been wonderful to witness so many locals joining forces to help and to support one another. As part of a long list of inspiring efforts from within the community, initiatives such as a fundraising group have been put in to place and those in need have already welcomed many donations. Although we’re still trying to process what’s happened, we hope that moving forward, New Ferry comes back stronger than ever and begins to move towards its regeneration as we rebuild our community.
The New Ferry Town Team has set up a fundraising page, whereby all donations will directly support the residents and traders who have been affected by the explosion. If you’d like to donate, please visit the page at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/lovenewferry.
With this in mind, we wanted to say a huge well done and thank you to all those who have chipped in and got involved to help our residents and business owners.
As part of our efforts to support those affected, Bebington Glazing is offering 20% off to those affected by the explosion in a bid to help property owners to get back on their feet.
